Work

It's official. My bosses are insane and don't get why the business isn't booming.

It's because when I say I really don't have time to go to a meeting because of an emergency with work, they tell me we'll just apologize to the client because the meeting is more important...a meeting about OUR agency!

*cries*

I just almost cried and told her "I can't get my work done because of all of this. I've taken work home every night!" and yet it doesn't faze her.

Christmas Music

Christmas music that I don't mind coming on the radio while I'm trying to work (meaning, music that won't cause me to immediately scream and change the station)?

"12 Days of Christmas" by The Muppets

Beaker makes it so much better of a song.

Just got basically told that I had to get a form done (another for this internal crap) by end of day today or forget being on vacation on Monday.

*bites tongue HARD*

I very snippily replied "Well, like I told boss lady A, I'm getting really tired of not getting my work done because of this stuff."

That's my biggest gripe. I'm forced to be in a meeting when I need to work on a project, I take stuff home at night, I'm doing everything I can to prepare for a client meeting, everyone else is lazing on their butts when they want and taking THEIR vacation days (which has been grating on my nerves mightily, because they have no problem dictating when these internal meetings can't affect them), and yet I can't get my work done.

ARGH!!!!!!

And then they all get attitude at me for taking a day off. I'm so sorely tempted to just not go into the meeting today, because we're already screwed ten ways to Sunday for that (electrician showed up when he wasn't supposed to, so had to call boss back from lunch, who would be relieving me on the phones during the meeting, but she'll be going to lunch about the time the meeting starts now).

I'm just so fed up.

Can this week be over NOW?

Thinking and...

Pretty much *this* close to having had it big time. Because if one more fucking person in this office tells me their FedEx is more important than a project for a client than I'm going to walk out the door.
