I blame my mood on the caffeine. I abstained. Really, I did. For a good long while. I made it until 2. And I'm drinking my only Coke of the day. (Count me lucky - this time yesterday I was on Coke number three.)

To reward myself, I went to Target to get some lipstick and black strappy pumps. What did I leave with? Just the strappy pumps. Although in this case they're strappy wedges. The lipstick is a Max Factor lipstick, and for some reason Target has decided to no longer carry Max Factor.

(Headachiness is going away, which is quite nice. Thanks dear Coke!.)

Also, Big Brother 8 makes me happy spoiler cut for things that'll air tonight ).

To top off the reality TV trend, Hell's Kitchen is kind of boring. While I fear Julia's lack of creativity and culinary knowledge will have her lose in the end (because in the end, this is about fine dining), I love her work ethic and attention to quality in the now. My hope? Is that it comes down to Rock v. Julia.

Also, Victoria Beckham really does just get stalked by the paps for her clothing, doesn't she? That reality special was a full hour of cute, but considering it was supposedly cut down to an hour instead of a series, just because it was boring? I can see where the boring must have happened. (And let it be known, I far prefer boring celebrities over PH balanced ones.)

Lastly, Ginn Racing is canning Sterling and Joe Nemechek. Regan Smith gets the 14 ride for the rest of the year, and reportedly Aric Almirola will be getting to share seat time with Mark Martin. I feel bad for Joe and Sterling, because it's better to go out on your own terms, but something tells me Joe will land on his feet. (Joe screams Truck Series to me. He needs to head over there and really rock some socks.)

Shoe Spam

Bought at lunch: one awesome pair of black patent leather peep-toe wedges at Target.

(One inch shorter would have been nice, though. Suckers are 3.75" stacked heel!)

They're very Vargas/pin-up. I like the way I feel in them. Well, except for the walking. Gotta get some grips for the heels, so I don't pop out of the shoes on every step.

I contemplated the black peep-toe slingback, but alas, not in my size. Then there's this one, a very similar black patent peep-toe pump. But really, unless it was in candy red, I'd rather have the wedge. Sadly, no candy red patent leather peep-toe (oh god, typed "poop-toe") pumps.

Because I am a bad, bad girl, and I haven't done shoe shopping in a while, I'm splurging online on shoes that require less "but will my narrow feet hold them on" type trying on.

To die for Summer Teal open toe heels.

The coolest black Mary Janes on the planet. Plus, you know, SALE!

I talked myself out of a couple pairs of shoes, based on the fact that 1) I had nothing to go with the bronze and 2) narrow feet and mules are not a good match.
