Sick and SJIII

Well, went home sick yesterday, which meant that I was in bed at 3:30 yesterday afternoon.

I got back up at 7:15. At some dinner. Light dinner. Didn't throw it up despite the urge to do so. Fought a fever and a headache and managed to get through Bones before giving up and going back to bed.

Which means I slept from 3:30-7:15, then 9:00-5:40. For me, that's a lot. A whole lot. (I actually woke up of my own free will at 5:40 due to my body saying "Okay, we're done. All healed now. You can wake up.")

I don't like being sick. Let's not have that happen again for a while, okay?

On to Bones, how many people watched and nearly fell off the couch squealing when the guest credits included Sam Jones III? Just me?

And he was a gay geek. AWESOMENESS.

Seriously. His exit line "pfft. I'm gay" was so great. And he had lines and stuff. I was so proud.

That's the second show he's been on recently where he's played gay. (I'm kind of disappointed I didn't get to see the scenes on E.R. *pouts*)

I almost kept hoping he'd be the bad guy just because we'd get more of him. *sniffles* It wasn't nearly enough! But hey, if he works at the Jeffersonian, maybe he can show up again? Please?

I was torn about him being the bad guy. More Sam! But bad guy is sad face.

I wanted him to help provide information about the smuggled artifacts. That would have been great.

Sudden realization on my part - he was the one going to win the Bates thing with the $75,000. And that would give him prestige on his resume.

Plus he knows lots about the Gormogon stuff because he's been cataloging it.

*bounce* They should add him to the team later! I think Booth would like having someone to buddy with, because he didn't seem to be more like the squints.

I swear, everyone I know is getting sick, but no one is getting the same thing. I had someone apologize for giving me their illness at my mom's store, but I haven't been at the store in 2 weeks.!

Gemma and I didn't catch it in the opening credits, so we got surprised when he showed up on screen, playin' all "I'm not a kid, dammit!" (And when the "I'm gay," dropped Gemma sarcastically added that he'd never had any rolls that would prepare him for that.)

I really hope you feel better soon. It doesn't sound the least bit fun.

I didn't catch a single opening credit name except Sam's. *g* Apparently I have a psychic attachment to him or something.

*snicker* Not that he had to emulate a billionaire or a Kansas farmboy or anything...

I actually feel much better now. Yesterday was hell, but apparently it was a 24 hour thing. I much prefer 24 hours of hell to a week long cold.
