This one made me laugh, even if it is just Wimmer tagging Harvick's ass.

Menard! (For some reason I like him. Truex I could care less, but Menard?)

Which leads to my babycakes.

His facial hair makes me giggle.

Rookiefest 2006

For some reason I find this picture disturbing.

Scruffy Biff.

Zee Biff, all tanned and blue eyed with teh arms. Pardon while I go find a private area.

I so want to know what they're discussing.

Stewart ass. (Any time I can find an ass shot of a driver, be assured, if I care in any way about that driver, or know anyone who does, I will post it. *g*)

My first NASCAR driver.

So cute! So young! I squish!

First, gray is the worst color EVER for a firesuit if not paired with black and Goodwrench. Second, did they make it for Tony and hand it to JJ?

Borland!

The young, adorable and clueless club.

Best. Picture. Ever. Seriously. I'm taking guesses on what they're measuring, and as to why Schrader's is bigger.

Kahne tries to convince everyone he is evil. No one is buying it.

Anyone else thinking "mad scientist"?

Hot Kenseth picture, ahoy!

Hee. I kind of wish there were more ass shots of the guys. Some of them have really rockin booties, but you can't tell until they're getting in their cars (what with teh firesuits and all).

HAH!!! YAY TEE STEW BUM! I love that he's so big and meaty.

I am sad that there is no race this weekend! Whatever will I do w/ my Sunday afternoon?!

Also?

Second, did they make it for Tony and hand it to JJ?

BWHAHHAHAHAA!

From: [identity profile] maveness.livejournal.com

LOL I was telling Bubbles the other day that looking at him in street clothes, he's just stocky. Always has been. But that firesuit is SO not flattering if it clings at all.

There's a Busch race on Saturday night, which is my racing hope for the weekend. Only 7 Cup guys in it, so an actual chance for some racing for once. *g* (You could tape and watch it Sunday and pretend TOny's in it. LOL)

I swear, a couple of the guys wear firesuits so huge that you'd swear it was made for someone else. Kyle Petty wore one this year that was so massive that he told Darrel Waltrip that Darrell could climb in with him and they could race Brokeback style. (DW then sputtered and we spent 10 minutes figuring out how many men were scared to talk about anything remotely gay.)
ext_3042: (Default)

From: [identity profile] queenofalostart.livejournal.com

HAHAHAH! I love it!!!!!!!!

I will probably watch the Busch race if it's televised out here. There's plenty of kids in that series that I enjoy watching, so that'll do!

I like Tony's firesuit for the most part -- he's all square and shoulders and scruff and NGH! I just want to squeeze him.

And then maybe make him some cookies.

From: [identity profile] maveness.livejournal.com

It's supposed to be on TNT. 8 pm.

I think the shiny of the firesuits is part of what doesn't help. The colors rules, though, especially for him.

Yaye, I will totally watch!

ALSO, I just bought tickets to the Chase race at NH in Sept. HAHAHA!!!!! I got mid-priced seats ($80 each) at the start of Turn 4, some rows up so I can see over the folks walking around. I have no idea how high the fences are, so I don't know if they'll interfere with the sight lines, but STILL. YAYE! And Tony is doing an appearance that Thursday, so I am SO THERE.

From: [identity profile] maveness.livejournal.com

You are SO going to love it. The sheer horsepower is great, as is the thrill of being around all those people. Remember ear plugs, though. It's easy to go deaf with the noise.

The fence probably won't be a bother. From a distance back that becomes a blur.

King is totally freaked out -- I might have to find another buddy to go w/ me. He busted his tympanic membranes years ago, and he's always freaked by things that are SUPER loud. But, we'll see!

Also, what is up w/ people with scanners and everything? Is that par for the course, or do only diehard fans do that?

From: [identity profile] maveness.livejournal.com

For King...yeah, it might be a bit loud. If he had headphones that covered his ears AND earplugs that might help him enough to enjoy it.

Scanners/headsets are something I only recently got a clue about. (Which means I need to buy a set at some point as I do go to at least a race a year.) I've been to races without, and they're enjoyable, but when something happens, it's nice to know what's going on. Some folks do scanners to hear what's going on with pit crews. There's also headsets that play radio stations, and since the race is usually on the radio, that makes it *really* helpful in knowing what's going on. They can also be rented at the track.
ext_3042: (Default)

From: [identity profile] queenofalostart.livejournal.com

Oooh! So if I have a radio headset, that would work? I have a noise-cancelling headset for school, so I am totally bring that! And the pit crews are on unsecured bands? For reals?

From: [identity profile] maveness.livejournal.com

It would. The big key is if you have anything that covers the ears, that'll help King out for sure. Radio headsets are awesome for races.

Yep, the pit crews will be on various channels. There are a select few that refuse to allow the television channels to air their audio, but they can be heard by the fans. The language is VERY salty. LOL

Hee! I heard that Tony was cursing a blue streak when he hit the garage at the Father's Day race -- I was reading some of the NASCAR blogs on the Fox sports site. I am so lame! LOL

I am going to have to find another pair for Jesse and make sure they fully cover the ears. That way we can be total dorks together!

#2: The random floating Busch can just makes the picture.

Menard! (For some reason I like him. Truex I could care less, but Menard?)

Looks like Truex to me. Weird.

Junior picture #1: Interesting hair. For certain values of "interesting."

Rookiefest 2006

"C'mon, guys, really, we won't get in trouble, I promise! I just gotta get Tony back for that wreck!"

Green M is always disturbing.

I so want to know what they're discussing.

"Look, Greg, the numbers conclusively prove that the fans want to see me throwing sandwiches and Coke at you in the next commercial!"

Vickers looks so dejected. *offers Care Bear*

The gray makes Yeley look like he's wearing pajamas. Then again, that could explain a lot about the way he drives.

Borland! But why did the photographer focus on Newman walking funny?

Flipper protests being called "clueless." He'll take "young" and "adorable" though.

I'm taking guesses on what they're measuring, and as to why Schrader's is bigger.

Considering the grin on Schrader's face, I don't think I want to know.

Kandy's problem is that nobody believes pretty 12-year-olds can be evil.

Kyle does have a Doc Brown (Back to the Future) vibe going there.

From: [identity profile] maveness.livejournal.com

#2 I knew there was something about it that really made me laugh when I grabbed it, but I couldn't remember when posting. LOL That can is so funny. It's just...there.

Menard and Truex *do* look alike. Down to the facial hair. I imagine that'll be real fun next year if they have even slightly similar paint schemes.

Richert/Biffle: Hee! Although Greg took some of the fun out of it at FoxSports.com. Seems they had to do so many angles that all the takes were part of that, not just them messsing up lines. Apparently, Greg actually was being professional.

Vickers: Dejected, or chewing gum. *g*

Flipper is slightly less clueless than Jamie (which, well, Jamie's only slightly more clued in than Biffle). Maybe it's a Roush thing.

Schrader: All I gotta say is, it better not be a measurement corresponding to anything Mikey whipped out during commercial in Inside Nextel Cup. Cause Schrader would be right on that.

paul menard is teh sex. His arms KILL me.

hi gregory. i adore you. he makes even a thisrt and jeans look classy. DAMN!

From: [identity profile] maveness.livejournal.com

I haven't seen Menards arms yet. I do love hot arms on a man, though. (Which means gratuitous Casey Arms icon.)

Greg is so hot. *headdesk* LOL I adore that boy. He's aged into himself and DANG.

From: [identity profile] otherbella.livejournal.com

i can't for the life of me find that pic - [livejournal.com profile] tourofduty has it somewhere.... but it's swoonworthy.

The JJ is my own personal lovie.

From: [identity profile] maveness.livejournal.com

JJ makes me laugh. He has this happy snarky thing going for him. Plus the wee one has her own #18 pacifier.

From: [identity profile] otherbella.livejournal.com

faith anne owns. she is my hero.

and to continue from above - gregory has totally gorwn into himself. He's like the guy who's away on summer vacation - leaves in May all geeky and comes back in september a foot taller and STUDLY.

From: [identity profile] maveness.livejournal.com

LOL You can tell Greg spends a lot of time outdoors. And he's so comfortable in his own skin. I don't think he knows how hot he's gotten.

From: [identity profile] otherbella.livejournal.com

And thank heavens. All bronzey and hot, in a non-mystic tan way. *cough*lookspointedlyatJamie*cough*

From: [identity profile] maveness.livejournal.com

The mystic tan drives me insane. While I get that it's better for the skin than being out in the sun, if you put it on without some base of color to begin with, all that happens is a very orange glow. Or in my case, orange streaks when you shave.

From: [identity profile] otherbella.livejournal.com

Tropicana couture - it's so hot right now!

i never fake bake. I'm lucky to have some natural colour and I'm such a klutz I'm sure i'd screw it up.

From: [identity profile] maveness.livejournal.com

And you'd think the folks who really don't need it (Lindsay Lohan, I'm looking at you, you redhead) wouldn't go for it. I'm pasty white (a very very pasty white) and dye my hair red. Frankly, no one should complain about the pasty with red hair. *g*

You have that natural tan that I'm SO envious of. Just hte right amount of color to glow without having to worry about being called pasty or worrying about skin damage.

From: [identity profile] otherbella.livejournal.com

:D god bless my mamma and her portuguese skin. I got lucky. my colouring is something i am totally, completely comfortable with and awesomely proud of, because while it might not transfer in other areas, i totally lucked out there.

lindsay needs to lay off the orange.

pale is interesting! Alyson hannigan rocks all over that.

From: [identity profile] maveness.livejournal.com

I have family members that are bright white as well, and we just laughingly call it "porcelin" (even though it's not quite that flawless) and praise lack of skin damage.

Well, one side does anyway.

From: [identity profile] nox-candida.livejournal.com

w00t for NASCAR picspam! lol, thanks for throwing in the Kevin pics. Can't get enough of that boy. ;)

From: [identity profile] maveness.livejournal.com

Hee. I always end up on kevinharvick.com, as they have some of the best pictures of Kev. *sigh* He's so hot.

Which, um, I was evil, and I ordered a shirt. Black and gray that reads "Mine is an evil smile". I actually ordered it. To give to him in October at the fan gathering at KHI. (I refrained from how I would have done it - "Mine is an evil smirk" - because I was afraid he might take "smirk" the wrong way. Cause he so smirks. There's so much wonderfully naughty in that smile, it isn't just a simple smile.)

From: [identity profile] nox-candida.livejournal.com

Hahahaha!! That's so awesome! lmao, I wish I could go to the fan club gathering, but it's all the way across the country and I have no money, lol. :( But yeah, that's seriously so cool. lol, you have to tell me what he does/says, and how the gathering is, as well. :)

And yeah. Kevin's website always has awesome pics of him. :D

From: [identity profile] maveness.livejournal.com

I have the luck of living in the state. Although after my first meeting, I decided...never again. It's better to enjoy them from afar. It wasn't bad, but certain environments (long lines of fans) don't make for fun when meeting the boys. (Then again, getting to race against Mikey in go-karts was awesome. I should have stopped with that and not done the autograph.)

Heck, I live like less than an hour from Kernersville, so all I'll do that day is get off work and drive over. The whole reason I joined the fan club - just to give him that shirt. Hee!

From: [identity profile] otherbella.livejournal.com

not to butt in - but did you get your shirt custom made?? because i am looking for custom tees but not in huuuuuuuge quantities. :D

From: [identity profile] maveness.livejournal.com

I did. I got lucky and was reading an article on CNN.com yesterday that mentioned a site that was *perfect*. Neighborhoodies.com. They do individual ones and can do lots of letters. I just looked in the men's section, so I don't know the selection for the women's stuff, but if their women's line isn't enough, customglamgirl.com has always come through for me very well.

From: [identity profile] bluedragon73.livejournal.com

I like the Jr. curled lip look, like Elvis. I would love to see Ryan outside of that suit, he has one hot body.

I also like the pic of Kyle, he does look kinda of mad man like.

From: [identity profile] maveness.livejournal.com

Junior rarely does that (not as much as Jamie Mac), but it's SO CUTE. Hee.

Newman - I hate him. He puts on weight proportionally. *pouts* That should be illegal.

Kyle looks like he has this strange combo of NASCAR driver, Doc from Back to the Future, and Einstein.

From: [identity profile] tourofduty.livejournal.com

Ack! I was out today giving Tony far too much of my money, but I am here now and now I shall comment!

Brian looks like he's totally pouting. I. Love. Him. So. HEE!

Tony ass is enough to make my day a-okay. I swear. I love him so much that maybe it's a little on the creepy side. Okay, not in the way that like, I'm going to mail him my panties or anything. Just. In the way that if I see him I smile and giggle and that's a good thing! ...maybe I should wait until I'm a little less tired to comment.... hee.

Dude. Biff looks like he's either been outside a little more than usual or he's got the bottle of spray on tan. Either way, you go, Gregory Biffle.

Thanks for posting these. :)

Ooh, hey, somewhere in the depths of your image folders, do you have a shot of Junior with--you know how sometimes when he's waiting for a rain delay he'll unzip the top of his fire suit and stand around (looking seriously hot) in is T-shirt? I've been trying to find a shot of that, but you can't really plug it into a google images search. :)
