Oh my fucking god.
First, *hugs* to Kat.
Second, for some reason the head of the company told a client that, while he (the bossman) was on vacation, and while my PR boss was out today, that I am the contact regarding their special event for Friday night.
Except for the part that I have no fucking information on any event. Considering my total and complete involvement in this thing is to update a press release and frickin' send it out...I'm nowhere NEAR qualified to be planning a press conference about an event when I have no clue!!!!!! We have the media alert. The unfinished media alert. That's it. THat's all I have. I have the list of who to send it to but...that's it!!!!
Which is why my PR boss, who is out at a conference (and technically working) now has a frantic cell phone voicemail. Because no way in *hell* am I getting dragged into something blind.
