We keep losing internet today. Argh! It's hard to get online without the internet!
American Idol
1. Luke Menard - Buh-bye. See ya later. That was a nothing performance at the wrong time. And you were first.
2. David Archuleta - Here's my thing - I love me some Phil Collins. I recognize that in theory, "Imagine" was the better performance. Personally, I liked last night's performance better. Just like "Summertime" was amazing when Fantasia did it, but my favorite performance of hers was "Always On My Mind" (because that song is just awesome).
3. Danny Noriega - It's not a winning performance, but it's him. I can give him that much. I didn't like it, but it was his style.
4. Michael Johns - That style suits him. I still can’t stand him. But it suits him.
5. David Hernandez - I thought he sang that well. It wasn't a knock out of the ballpark, but it was definitely really darn good. Now, could AI producers just flat out say "We made a mistake with Frenchie and have decided that undisclosed crimes are the only reason to keep someone off the show" instead of seeming like sexist assholes? Cause Frenchie posed nude to pay her way through college. David Hernandez did totally nekkid stripping. I'm trying to see some kind of difference here (because hello, nudity for pay), but I'm really not.

dragonsinger is laughing at me right now. He sang LIONEL RICHIE people. The rocker sang LIONEL RICHIE. And it was good! Like, I’m buying it kind of good! I know!
7. Jason Castro - *flails* He’s my favorite, people. FAVORITE. Love him. Like whoa. I appreciate things like whoa about David Archuleta and think he should be in the top two. I love Jason in that way that gets me voting for him. That was amazing.
8. Chikeze - Dude sang Whitney Houston/Luther Vandross. I love Chikeze singing some Luther. He wasn’t dumb. It wasn’t over the top fabulous, but he did the Luther version and had me at “hello”. Oh wait, that’s a different song, different performer.
