Either you are sitting there, scratching your head, trying to figure out what I'm talking about, or you're squealing in delight because Eddie the Eagle!
Eddie was an Olympic ski jumper for Great Britain and Northern Ireland in 1988. He sucked. I mean, he really, really sucked. Fella jumped far shorter than most competitors. But bless his heart, he tried. That for me was always the best thing about him. No matter how disparaged he was, how mocked he became by ski jumping, he gave it his all. And sometimes with athletes, that's all you can ask.
