I had "the talk" with Billy last night.

The short of it? I made it simple, gave no excuses or outs, and gave every opportunity for it to be quick and painless (which was the recommendation by my male coworker who told me guys don't like to have things dragged out). Turns out Billy's a girl and I'm the guy. Because quick and simple worked for me and Billy wanted to discuss and make it all into a big THING.

Managed to miss Chuck and most of Inside Nextel Cup and a good portion of Heroes. Two of those at least I can watch online. Still. It says something that I'm starting to realize that answering the door or walking the dog between 8 and 10 is not a good idea, even during a commercial break. (Answering the phone to get my brother-in-law was okay. He at least had a funny story about my sister's latest antics. Don't worry, they're still broken up.)

Today's lunch schedule:

1. Go to post office for boss (which is why I get an hour and a half lunch)
2. Return jeans to Target, get new jeans
3. Buy Christmas present for Uncle Howard
4. Oh yeah, food

We've found the BEST sushi in all of Greensboro - Sushi Republic. It's high priced (well, for Greensboro), but so good. Coworker Rob and I shared - we got the Crazy roll and the Escape roll. As is tradition now (after only two times), you take the names of both, put them together, and decide what it sounds like. So the Crazy Escape? Totally a 70s movie starring Peter Fonda with a side of Steve McQueen.

Also, I'm quite exhausted. I'm not sleeping well, even though I know it's because I'm not getting enough water, I've spent three days rearranging and cleaning my apartment (stirring up dust), and because I didn't get enough sleep over the weekend.

I have to bind this afternoon. Books. 45 of them. *sigh*

In honor of Paul Menard (and his sideburns)...

Inspired by the Aflac Racing website.

I'm not kidding you. Hell, there's an ad at NASCAR.com that says "Duck Power". This is why I love that Aflac sponsors him. Aside from my twisted love of Gilbert Gottfried.
