Uh huh. So, I laid it all out. Gave her the list. Got specific, down to details that normally are just part and parcel of what we all know we want out of a guy.

My response:

Strong personality (not going to be swallowed up by the family or me)
Stable job, preferably with a career path in mind (but not necessarily talking about moving up the corporate ladder – just know what the career they want is)

Slightly geeky
Open
Honest
Not a game player
Willing to put up with mood swings
Speaks what’s on his mind
Non-judgmental


And in a perfect world where I get to be slightly shallow, although this is just icing on the cake: Wears glasses, has freckles, or is Asian.

(You said be specific. I got specific! Also, a guy that only dates one woman at a time. I can’t do the “Who all is he seeing. Does he like her more than me.” thing.)
