Random things I've been trying to remember for a while (plus some that aren't random and I remember clearly for today).

Thing the First: The CW

Time Warner Cable put this lovely caveat on a scrolling bar yesterday: due to contract negotiations, they may be cutting ties and dropping WCWG from their stations.

The letter writing commences today.

Seriously, I do NOT hold well with having to bust out the rabbit ears for Supernatural, Gilmore Girls and Smallville. Not when there's no reason.

Thing the Second: NASCAR

I love awesome races. I love awesome races back to back to back. I especially love awesome races with guys running out of gas and coasting and there being screaming of "OH MY GOD CASEY MEARS COULD WIN.....DAMN HE RAN OUT OF GAS TOO". LOL

I still want to know what happened to Ellyut, though.

Also, Banquet 400 commercials featuring Tony and the pot pie lead to two things: wanting a pot pie like whoa and singing "chicken pot, chicken pot, chicken pot pie" a la "Just Shoot Me".

Thing the Third: Rap Videos of Late

Thing noticed in videos for Ludacris and P. Diddy lately - the dressing 'upper middle class' bit. I have to admit to giggling mightily when I saw the video for "Shake Your Moneymaker" and immediately latched on to the fact that Pharrell and Luda were wearing very swank polo shirts. In lime green and red! So cute.

Then P. Diddy rocking his suits (which is the norm for him, but really, when in a rap video with dancing?). He is so at home in them, but the dancing threw me for a loop. (That and Nicole trying to dance without the other PCDs. Dear poor Nicole - you're the singer. You need the other girls to bring the sexy dancing.)

Thing the Fourth: Gnarls Barkley

Videos that rock? Oh yeah. Especially when the band is animated to be FLEAS.

I do really love their twisted minds.

Whiskey for my men...

It is important to note:

If consumption of alcoholic beverages gives you heartburn...

Which results in burping...

And there are certain types of alcohol you don't like the taste of the first time around, let alone more than once...

Then don't eat the Irish Whiskey Fudge.

Even if it does say "fudge". No actual chocolate was used in the making of this product.
