Ribs! Lovely, wonderful Ribs!

Okay folks, I'm looking for something elusive, something special...

The perfect rib rub.

I've been trying to convince my family of the joy of ribs. This is not something we grew up on. And they have issues with food you have to work at (crab legs are a similar problem - although in that case half the family is allergic). But I'm set on getting them to try some ribs, which leads to needing the absolute perfect recipe.

So, please, in the comments, leave me your best rub recipe. I'll be ever so grateful! And I'm sure anyone else looking for good ribs would be too.

Work

Work is keeping me busy today. The hell? And it's random, not normal things. I think I resent that. Yes, I've been doing better about keeping up with the day to day things, but I had that done by 10.

Project Runway and Creativity

I need to stop watching Project Runway. Mainly because I start getting grand ideas. I know what most of you are thinking: "I love the creativity, but I don't go trying to design a dress five minutes after watching". Well, you may not have the problem of actually being able to sew. *sobs* And being horrendously lazy with bursts of "inspiration". I made my senior prom dress. I've made suits and skirts (and a shorts/jacket/shell combo that worked at the time but should never be repeated outside of the 80s). I've done a few dresses. Granted, I swear to never touch a pair of pants/shorts again, as they are impossible to do (getting the crotch right is a nightmare), just like sleeves on something are a pain. Pretty much, I got to the point where skirts were where it was at.

And yet I want to sew skirts. Skirts that fit me properly and fit my needs. I have a closet with several skirts in one style that are perfection, and I know how to make them and how basic they are and I'm THIS CLOSE to trying to make a pattern for them and construct all on my own...

And it's all Project Runway's fault.

And Uli's fault. I like her dresses that she wears too much. Her and Kara Janx. While most things Kara created I didn't like, her personal wrap dress was awesome.
