Oh dear LORD.

How to not butter up the secretary - just gush about how professional are website is and be astonished that the company is located in Greensboro, NC, and not New York, since, you know, fabulous incredible advertising website! *gasp*

*eye roll*

You know, anybody who's actually in advertising knows that New York is not the end all, be all of advertising. Agencies with amazing track records are all over the country. The award winners don't just come out of New York anymore.

(Plus I'm a grumpy southerner today who doesn't like the implication that this woman has lived in town for many years and didn't know we existed. We're the oldest agency in town. Hell, we're the agency that gets pegged as "established and venerable and produces excellent work" by people that shouldn't have a care in the world about who all the advertising agencies are. And also never mind that this chick wants to write for a client that we've had for 10 years and never knew that we were their agency?)

I thought of this and decided...a poll! For the amusement of myself! About...moonshine!

(Which my answers to following question are "Once" and "Peach", just so you know.)

[Poll #757126]

WAHHHHHHDDDDDDDDD!!!!!

Burton would not confirm discussions with RYR, but indicated his talks have been with owners of multi-car organizations which have struggled recently.

Please oh please oh please.
Brandon Routh info

Because this is the penultimate combination of fandoms - Brandon Routh will be the Grand Marshal of this week's NASCAR race and also give the command (for those wondering, it's the "Gentlemen, start your engines", and is vitally important, although I sincerely doubt he'll top what Batman did last year - yes, Batman gave the command and it was AWESOME).

The race is on Saturday night, not Sunday, and is one of the really cool night races (night racing - lights up at the track and the cars look like Jolly Ranchers, TM [livejournal.com profile] zeplum's sister).

Saturday, 7:30 PM on FOX.

(For I will lure you all in! *insert evil laughter here*)

So in short, Brandon Routh, aka Superman, aka Clark Kent will be at the NASCAR race amid some guys who have admitted to being Superman fanboys and are rednecky to boot.
