Oh goody. I get to be on the warpath at work. *sigh*
1. Coworker that refuses to do his timesheets and drives everyone batty because of it? Has rubbed off on his 25 year old protege. Protege, who is smart and nice, is failing to do his timesheet on time and pulling the "but I'm busy" card once too often. The possibility of a conversation that includes "Coworker, be warned that while you can't be fired, he can." may be imminent.
2. Have to clean out the mail room today. No biggie, except...dust. Which, actually, means I'm being smart to clean up the dusty stuff when I'm covered in hives, because really, can it get that much worse? (Be on the lookout for the update on my trip to the hospital later. Really, you know me saying "can it get much worse" will result in a closing airway or something.)
3. Needing to take files off our server, and I swear to god, if one more person whines because "the file they need was linked to one I moved and so an image is GONE! Woes!" I'll smack them. First, they expect to keep files that are HOW old on the server? Three years old? When they're huge? *sigh* And all the rules about how I'm supposed to do things are getting old. I'm doing this to save them work. It has to be done. If they don't like it, they can take it up with one of the head honchos who gave me carte blanche. And if they still don't like it, they can stay late and do the work themselves. (I am just bitchy enough.)
