And I swear to god, the next person that calls me "dear", "sweets", or "young lady" when 1) they are not Southern or 2) the tone used implies that I should respond "Yes master", will be hurt.

(Signs of condescention? Calling me "young lady" in that tone. Then following it up by calling someone else "young lady", when they are 58 and older than the person using those words. Hell. No.)
