Things that excite me

I get so excited when I recognize someone in a commercial.

The newest Coke commercials with the whole traveling theme...the one with the "talent contest" with the extremely talented chick. Yeah. Me, as soon as they put her on the screen, said "That's Angela Peel."

And I was so right.

First off, funky black woman with very bold red lips, pigtails, a slight Lenny Kravitz air and a guitar singing in a voice that is fierce, unique and strong?

Uh, yeah. Not hard to spot her.

You may remember Angela Peel from when she was on American Idol the first season (and unfortunately for her was in the semifinal round with Kelly Clarkson and Justin Guarini) or from Popstars 2 (yes, I watched that, and I still wonder why).
