I'm so adoring Sharon Stone this morning. The woman can be highly random and weird, but good intentions are good intentions, and challenging others to give when they least expect it, especially the way she did it, rocks.
If you haven't heard (and dang it, it was a news blurb on ABC News this morning, but darn if I can find an article), at an economic summit in Switzerland she stood up, interrupted the speaker and pledged $10,000 to fight malaria in the tsunami region. Then she challenged others to contribute too, and managed to raise $1,000,000 in less than 20 minutes.
(Now, whether the people will keep their pledges is another thing, but dude, that rocks.)
