A billboard company just called for a coworker. Said coworker is out on vacation all week (she was out Friday also). When informed of this fact, the billboard company man replies that this causes him a big problem, because he has an issue that he has to have solved.

Long story short, he can't find the vinyls for a billboard that was supposed to go up at the beginning of the month.

*looks at calendar*

You know, I feel no sympathy for the guy. It's June the 8th. He had four days at the beginning of the month to call her. And June really is the vacation month.

I refrained from saying that though. For my PMS-induced snark is oddly mellow these days. Why is that?

You know, I'd be scared of buying any drug from a place that doesn't know how to spell "pharmacy".

I'd also be scared of buying drugs from anyone advertising by email, but that's a whole other kettle.

According to a brochure distributed at the World War II Memorial, all those who served in the war received the WWII Victory Medal.

The thing is, many WWII vets have never even heard of this medal.

Spread the word about this medal. It is important that all those who served receive the recognition they so deserve. Contact your congressional representative and make sure to have the proper documentation. Many veterans have already died, but if you are sure they never received it, family can apply to get one.
