Well, I've not got much to say on it. Basically, American Idol was eh. But a few caught my attention for various reasons.

George - I got to see the Temptations live when I was a little girl. When I heard them say George would be singing the Temptations, I squealed. He did not disappoint. Definitely great.

Fantasia - I love my girl, and she sang really well, but what the hell was up with that sweater? Fuggliest sweater on earth. And I'm not crazy about the way she turned her back on the audience either.

Diana - Bored me. I don't care how good her vocals were, her performance bored me.

Jasmine - I want those pants. [livejournal.com profile] sullivanlane already called me on it too.

Jennifer Hudson - Uh, I don't know what Randy's issue is, but considering how her version of Heat Wave was actually better than K.Locke's from last year...I'd say that was damn good. But girl needs to STAND STILL for five seconds. I swear, I was getting seasick.

I still haven't seen the first three performers. I got in right after they had finished, and then I just didn't have the energy to rewind and watch them.

*falls over in love*

<------ Do you see that? Huh? [livejournal.com profile] simplisity is just...guh. That is so hot. You are a fab icon maker. I will stare and drool now.
I'm going to be in Hotlanta (thank you DW for getting that stuck in my head) for the next three days. Whoopie. 12 hours in a car with my mother. A hotel room. For two. Casino night *blech - since neither of us gamble* and a seminar that I'll be stuck at during dinner on Friday night.

My mother better seriously love me.

SHIT! I need to call her and wish her happy birthday. Shit. My stupid brain. *bangs head on desk*

But you most likely won't see me online until Sunday (if amazing things happen in Atlanta and I've not killed my mother) or Monday at the latest.

Whee!
