I swear to God, the people in this state are idiots!
Folks, southern snow is nasty. There's ice underneath the snow. We all know this because we've dealt with it for years. This is nothing new!
Do these people leave for work early? No.
Does Randolph County bother to actually scrape or salt the roads? No.
Do people have a hard time determining whether it's better to drive like a bat out of hell or Grandma Moses? Yes.
It's fucking irritating! Took 25 minutes to make what's normally a 10 minute drive. (Keep in mind that's only part of my route to work, it was just the worst portion.) The roads are hideous. We can't go over 35 in a 65 zone.
Then we get to Guilford County. The county line? An immediate change in road conditions. From nasty to absolutely clear. Thank you Guilford County DOT employees.
And people keep driving 35. *bangs head on desk*
And the worst part? Getting to work to discover that even though you're 15 minutes late, and there was no message to all of the employees from the boss that the office was opening late, you're still only one of three people in the office. And all of you drive small cars.
Where are the fucking SUV, 4-wheel drive folks? At home. Taking their sweet time. Fuckers. Pansy ass fuckers. Lily-livered, wussy babies. They can't get their fucking pansy asses into the office because "the roads are too bad." Stop whining you fucking wusses. If a Toyota Carolla can make it in, you can grow a pair of balls and get your asses on the road.
In other news, my blood pressure is up.
