I hate allergies. I can't breath. Which makes the time I spent nearly upside down in the supply closet looking for a pen holder even more fun. That was 30 minutes ago and I'm still all woozy and lightheaded.

So work and school are going to be killing me for a few weeks. Or at least school is. Work next week should be better.

I have a project to finish for school. Discussion questions to finish. A test to take. An agency presentation to write (I have to interview someone for that too). Another comprehensive final exam that's closed book (can I mention how much I don't like the teacher of that course right now?).

I have something to write for Craig, smut to finish for Val, the Clark-virgin fic to write for Val, my Delete fic to work on, and my Chlionel to finish.

On one hand, I'm quite happy that my week in Conneticutt at the uncle's will most likely include time where I can write. That will be helpful.

And I have to finish Christmas presents (making them, joy), and clean the apartment. And insert going to the gym in there.

The thing is, all of the school work is due by Dec. 11 (I'm going to be so glad to go to Orson Scott Card's book signing at the end of that day). The house has to be clean by that day too.

Signed up for classes Monday night, and I'm taking four.

State & Local Government (online)
Crisis Intervention (online)
Criminal Law (class - Tues.)
Selected Topics in Criminal Justice (class - Mon.)

Looking at this I realize that, yes, I am now set up nicely for Wed. night TV and Thurs. night TV, but I'm screwed on Tuesday night. American Idol versus Gilmore Girls. Seriously, I may go get a DVD player/VCR just so I can tape both (which means I also need to repair the small TV).

I'm such a TV whore. *g*

Aw, would you look at that.

She's breeding. Why am I afraid?
1) Which would you choose, to live for 10 years of relative happiness or 20 years of relative sadness?

10 years of happiness. Because what are 20 more years if they're not worth it?

2) If there was one book, play or movie that you could erase from your memory just to enjoy reading/seeing it again for the first time, what would it be?

Steel Magnolias - It's my all-time favorite movie and play, and even though I never get tired of it, that initial joy and crying would be nice to recapture.

3) Would you stay at a job that paid you $150,000 a year if you really disliked your co-workers because they were narrow minded bigots? If not, what circumstances would make you stay at a job like that?

No. I like money, but it can't decide my happiness.

The circumstances that *would* keep me there though would depend on the job itself. If the job were fulfilling to me personally and I were doing helpful things, then I would stay.

4) What are the three most important traits of friendship?

Honesty, boundless love, respect

5) What are the three physical things about someone that attract you the most?

Shoulders
Eyes
The hug

6) If you were truly in love with someone and you knew they were interested in you but they were unhappily married, would you pursue them?

No. A marriage is a sacred thing. They have to be responsible for the vows they made. They have to make the effort to work at it and try and fix all problems. If they've done that and it's not working, they need to get a divorce, but I shouldn't interfere at all. Once the divorce is through, then the door is open.

7) If you could make a wish come true, would you make someone you are in love with, but who does not love you, fall in love with you without their consent?

No. That can only lead to resentment on my part that they didn't love me without the aid of a wish. If they don't love me in return, so be it. Move on.

8) If you ate the last cookie, candy, or piece of pie do you admit it?

Nope. *g* All's fair in love and pie.

9) What is the one thing that you own that you would never give up?

My dog. Although it could be argued that he owns me, in which case...my great uncle Woosley's Bible.

10) What are the three things you like the most about yourself?

My independence
My hair
My geekiness
