Advantage # 487 of living in North Carolina, and within the listening area of Raleigh radio stations.

They are more likely than other radio stations to try to wrangle Clay Aiken songs.

I know tons of people have already heard "Invisible", and it's not like it's any big news, but the Raleigh station played it while I was at lunch. They managed to get hold of a copy.

*giggles*

"Invisible" is...how to describe it? Okay, first, I like the song, cheesiness and all. It's definitely better than the REO Speedwagon Clay stuff that I heard on another Raleigh station a few weeks back.

It took me about 5 bars to figure out *why* I like it.

Folks, this song is the new century's "Beleive It Or Not, It's Just Me", the theme to that old TV show, The Greatest American Hero. They sound so much alike. I loved that show and that song, so I'm predisposed to loving "Invisible".

And after listening to the song, can I ask that Smallville ditch "Save Me" in favor of "Invisible"? It fits! I swear it does! Plus it's a song by a geeky, corn-fed boy with amazing abilities! Don't you think that's just too appropriate for words?

Still working on the Luke/Lorelai fic. *sigh* I never, ever meant to write Gilmore Girls. I feel no desire to because everything I want is fulfilled onscreen. I *love* the dance of UST. It feeds me. Fulfillment of that immediately causes me to lose interest. So why am I writing? I have no clue.

Wait, yes I do. One little, niggling bunny that was innocent enough to tempt me. *points at [livejournal.com profile] musesfool* It's all her fault!

I don't watch sports on a regular basis unless it's some event (or NASCAR). I did watch the men's final for the US Open yesterday.

Can I just say that Andy Roddick looks like a cute little boy that I wanted to cuddle? Poor dear. He got so excited. The crying almost made me cry.

Yeah, I'm a sap like that. Shut up.

Bizarre ass moment that means now I'm getting surgery, but believe me when I say it's minor, but very, very, very, very disgusting. So don't read this unless you have an empty stomach and/or a lead-lined stomach. )

For the past week I've had the overwhelming urge to move to Greece. And I've suddenly become addicted to tomatoes. Add that in with my recent weight gain, and I'd swear I was pregnant if it weren't for the fact that I keep having my period. And that the periods in question were definite "there's no way in hell you're pregnant" kind of periods.

Yes, I'm weird. Why do you ask?

Wore my Fandom Rebels shirt yesterday to lunch and thoroughly confused my mother. She kept trying to read it and finally announced "your shirt doesn't make sense". I informed her it wouldn't make sense to her, and gladly she let it drop.

I know exactly how she would have reacted if I had told her. She would have been highly confused.

I had a dream this weekend that my dog had taken over the running of Kryptonsite. Craig decided for some reason that Chester would do a good job.

I don't understand it either, don't worry.
