I'm feeling all jaunty and whatnot. Full of myself this morning. Maybe it was the fact I drank a 12 oz. Coke in about 10 minutes. Whee! Caffeine and sugar! *bounce, bounce*

Fun Games For When The Lights Go Out
I know the people who have no power can't read this and enjoy the fun, but here are some things you can do during a power outage to pass the time. They are delineated by Summer vs. Winter, for I am the power outage queen. (We lived in the country growing up, and whenever there was a snow storm, trees would fall on power lines. During the spring and summer, thunderstorms would regularly - like once a month - knock down trees onto powerlines. Funny how the power companies never cut down the trees near the powerlines.)
Summer
Open the windows
Light candles
Play cards
Eat melting ice cream
Read!
Use kitchen chairs, couch cushions and sheets to make tents in the living room
Tell ghost stories
Write
Hide and seek (it's more fun in the dark)
Catch lightening bugs
Winter
Build a fire (only if you have ample space outdoors or if you have a fireplace with a clean chimney)
See how many of your clothes you can put on at once
Read
Write
Cuddle
Light candles
Play cards or baord games
Play keep away with the only comforter

I think I'm going to start working on a Sooper Sekrit Project! just because I want a Sooper Sekrit Project!, and because Craig is tempting me with something. Combine the two, and fun for all!
