NASCAR Notes

Just got done watching Victory Lane and two items of note:

1. Mark Martin giddy is kind of entertaining.

2. Biffle has braces! (Before Kenny noticed, I was pausing my TV and examining the screen going "what's going on with Biffle's mouth?" And then I saw braces. And then Kenny saw braces. And then Kenny and Jimmy decided they need to do an interview and find out why Biffle has braces. And John Roberts said "Can we talk racing?" and I was sad.

So Biffle must have the invisiline type braces if it wasn't immediately obvious to people. Wow, and I thought I was old for braces when I had them between age 18 and 21.

Oh, they're full on metal. Definitely not invisiline. You can tell he got them really recently because he's doing that sucking thing that braces wearers do because they're not used to something in their mouths and they salivate too much. LOL Which means I watched RaceDay *after* seeing the post race stuff, and when Hermie was interviewing him, I paid way too much attention. But RaceDay, he didn't open his mouth enough to be seen. Like the inside of his mouth is tender and he's self-conscious. He didn't even smile much on Victory Lane, he just happened to open his mouth a bit more and there they were.

I just saw him on This Week In NASCAR, so I saw his new metal braces. I'm surprised. He has money. He can afford something less obvious that takes less time to work. He's going to have to wear those for a couple years. From what I saw on This Week In NASCAR, I think the braces are really hurting him. Mine sure did when I first got them.

I wonder if it has to do with his jawline. Or his gap. Or if he's just cheap. *g*

Nowadays, I didn't think Invisiline cost that much more. Hell, I would have probably sprung for them back in the day when I had mine.
