Children these days are so clueless. LOL
Guy I went to jail school with (last April) wanted me to text him. I've only seen him once since then (last week at mandatory training). He's nice, I figured he was looking to act as go between since a coworker of his was obviously interested in me. Nope, kid (he's 23) wants to hang out because he's bored. LOL
Now, he's 23, married, and a flirt. Also, kind of ditzy. I knew all of this within the first week of the month that is jail school.
So we're texting, because hey, maybe hang out tomorrow. And we're trying to come up with ideas of what to do and he says something that just sounded...off. From most guys I know what they mean (sex). From him, I'm not sure. So I text him saying "You're talking about hanging out, not anything hinky, right?" Because I've learned from my dippy male coworkers that 1) women have all the power and 2) shoot straight from the hip and misunderstandings don't happen.
Dude gives me a totally evasive answer. Then asks if I still want to hang out. At this point, I'm not digging the vibe (because I don't do married), so I say no, which gets him all confused...until he figures out how hinky it all sounded. LOL
I flat out told him that he is seriously clueless. LOL He admitted that he is. Still, I think hanging out is not going to happen. He's that baby brother type personality, but with him being a flirt, he doesn't need to be hanging out with single females, even if I'm significantly older than him. Not without it being okay with his wife first.
