Music That Sucks

I don't get artists that give off tons of attitude, like to think they're original, can't sing, and in the end sound more like a parody.

I'd like to point out that Ke$ha actually sounds like Kelly. Not Clarkson. The one below.

Okay, maybe a mash-up of Kelly and someone from Gossip Girl. (Kelly is way more awesome, though.)

New Year's Resolutions

1. Sports Blog: That's going to involve some site design, so yeah, whenever that happens. I want it to happen by the start of the NASCAR season, but we'll see.

2. Crochet: I swear. This year.

3. Astronomy: As a sci-fi fan, I'd be remiss if I didn't start studying what's out there.

4. Writing: There are weekly writing totals and I have to outline by the end of January.

5. Ride a mechanical bull: 33rd birthday!

6. Work out daily: We'll see how this one goes tomorrow. But I have a whole work out plan in place. There's even a spreadsheet.

7. Take a class in something unique: I won a scholarship to go to a wildlife rehabilitation conference at the end of January. So there's that. But I'd also like to learn to weld.

8. Train Merlin: That's the owl I've started working with. Now if he'll just eat in front of me (a sign of trust), we can start the training.

9. Design dream home: I've already started this by compiling a book of floor plans that I like.

10. Expand design book: And if I ever build that home, I can decorate it!

11. Ancestry: See if there's more than just a pirate in the family history.

12. Learn to build: No, I'm not going to build a dream home, but I'd like to learn to make some things on my own.
