Harry Potter
So, as I've finished book four, I thought I'd update everyone on what I think thus far.
1. Ron is my favorite. This one snuck up on me, as in each book I had something or someone I enjoyed. But by the end of book four I realized that the character that I adore the most is Ron. He's solid. He's true. He's also redheaded.
2. Hermione is the one I most identify with. (Except when I'm identifying with Ron over not knowing where he fits in.) And the one that I agree with most often. What can I say, I'm a rules girl.
3. I like that J.K. Rowling has a definite plan and you can tell the progression. I kind of wish Charlene Harris had the same intent with the Sookie Stackhouse books.
4. I can see a lot of what's coming before it happens, although some of the twists are nice.
5. Since my f-list is my f-list, I've paid particular attention to the Remus/Sirius bits thus far. Which have been very few. Hey, I'm paying attention to them!
6. The Creevy kids get on my ever-loving nerves.
7. There's something bizarrely endearing about Snape.
