Question:
I have a reference letter from the job I got laid off from. I've wondered what one does with that. Should I submit a copy with a resume? What's the deal? Because I have the letter, but I've never been sure what to do with it.
On the same note, if I'm applying for a job where one of my specific job experiences would apply nicely, should I get that boss to write me a reference letter? (Also known as, if I apply for a job as animal control, should I submit a reference letter from my volunteer opportunity?)
