My mother hates her job. She's been reduced to tears twice in the past week.

My sister hates her job. She's reduced to tears daily.

They work at the same place.

My sister is having me look at her resume because she's being recruited by another firm. My mother has finally been convinced to look into a job elsewhere.

I'm not allowed to tell each of them what the other is doing, even though they're both doing the same thing.
