OMG, Pasha and Anya are on Superstars of Dance!!!!
Dude, I'd so do them both. (Don't be shocked. Anya's like the Catherine Zeta Jones of ballroom dancers. Tell me you wouldn't want to tap that. And dude, Pasha. PASHA. And his shirt was open and everything!)
Also, the Indian duo sucked (I felt bad for them, but they did), the Irish group got by on the whole "Lord of the Dance" mystique, even though their lead dancer sucked, there's too much posing by dancers at the beginning of routines, and at least the Australian tap dancer didn't mess around and got to dancing.
I'm just waiting for the Shaolin Monks to be honest, though.
ETA: The Chinese dancer with the ribbon dance...it's beautiful to watch, but I don't know how difficult it actually is. The irony here being that the Chinese group will kick major ass on the difficulty scale later. Yes, I am a Shaolin Monk fangirl.
ETA2: And was I right or was I right about the Shaolin Monks? Also, the Argentine Tango is never, ever going to do badly unless someone doesn't know how to do it. That is a masterful and beautiful dance and it was dance amazingly.
(And the canned applause is annoying. Turn off the canned applause during performances when we can see that the audience is not clapping.)
