Tony Stewart/Greg Biffle

***

Quite honestly, it was hard to get Tony to shut up anyway. But Tony on a rampage was nigh on impossible. Tony on a rampage and close to drunk was remarkably easy. Greg just kissed him, figuring neither one of them would remember it tomorrow anyway. (After all, he was pretty far gone himself.) And it would get Tony's mind off what he had perceived as Greg's most recent on track transgression.

Greg's pretty sure, though, that they're not so drunk they won't remember the rest. Who knew Tony was so...bendy?

New Year's Resolution Roundup

So, my New Year's Resolutions for 2008 will be null and void as of midnight tonight. So time for a roundup to see what all I did.

Now, keeping in mind that the key was to get me to do things, the fact that I crapped out on it about August doesn't bother me too much. The problem became cost. Things I had later on the list just cost too much. So.

Things Done

1. Richard Petty Driving Experience (170 mph baby!)
2. Date
3. Mounted, framed and hung NASCAR memorabilia
4. Volunteer (Wildlife Rehabilitation Center, NC Zoo)
5. Learned to make kee mao
6. Went to a concert (Bruce Springsteen)
7. Hike in a park
8. Learn to drive stick

It would be a really bad idea to break out the treadmill right now, right? Crown Royal plus Red Bull plus exercise while watching Anderson Cooper and Kathy Griffin is not a good combo.

*g*

(No, really. I'm having an urge. It's probably the Red Bull. Two of them so far. Because of the addition of Crown. Never even got tipsy, despite a fourth of a bottle consumed, but dang if I'm not amped and ready to move right now.)
2009 New Year's Resolutions

This year will be slightly different from last. I'm making goals that are more life changing. Or about doing something with what I already have.

1. BLET (Basic Law Enforcement Training)
2. Exercise (which is kind of necessary to prepare for number one)
3. Monthly parties
4. Big furniture purchase
5. Crochet class
6. Cooking class
7. Pay off credit card
8. Get a date without the assistance of others or online dating
9. Read at least one of unread books a month
10. GET A NEW JOB

I was going to include "go to a shooting range to guarantee passing the shooting portion of BLET" but I don't own a gun. Not afraid to handle one, but I live somewhere where unless you're law enforcement, they really don't want people owning guns. (Not that they could prevent me, but I play by the rules.)
