News Update
So the $225 million harassment lawsuit filed against NASCAR by Mauricia Grant...it was settled yesterday in mediation.
Take that Brian France.
I'm irked at France for this - he is stubborn enough and rich enough that he'd fight it to the bitter end. For once, I can understand that it's about the reputation of the sport and not as much about the money. But what that means is, because they settled, NASCAR was at fault for the work environment Mauricia was in. So I say "take that" because all of those assertions that she didn't report things like she needed to and was just a gold digger is a bunch of bull by their own admission now. I didn't have any doubt before, but this is just the nail in the coffin.
The good things that came out of it - I think the good old boy network got a bit of a shake up, and several of the guys involved did get fired.
