Hey, TiVo Users! Or Ti-Faux Users!

So, I know a lot of you have TiVos or Ti-Fauxs. I need to know pretty much everything you can tell me about them - how much you like them, whether there are glitches in service, etc. If you have a Ti-Faux, who do you get service from and did the brand box you bought satisfy your DVRing needs.

(My mother was really intrigued by the idea that a person can pause live TV. I did this on Sunday when they wanted me to go out to dinner with them while the race was still on. I mentioned that I hit pause with 30 laps to go and would go home and watch the rest. For once my mother was intrigued by technology. My dad is now doing research - and has nixed the DVR service from Time Warner Cable - so we're trying to figure out how the Ti-Fauxs work in comparison to TiVo.)

Former official sues NASCAR over harassment claims

This doesn't surprise me. For all the young guys in the sport that were raised differently and don't understand sexism or racism, there's the old coots that still like to swing their dicks around and put them there women in their place. The Richard Petty generation needs to be run out the door.

(And NASCAR needs to be on notice - those allegations are way too specific. By way too specific, I mean, anyone that can cite instances with direct quotes went through a lot for a long time and started recording things in case she had to bring a lawsuit. This has the earmark of her crossing all her t's and dotting all her i's. If NASCAR wants their drive for diversity to hold any weight, they better be prepared to start firing some guys.)

ETA: One good thing about NASCAR, though - their official website is not run by NASCAR. They get particular perks and all, but Turner Entertainment has run the site for years. It's a separate entity. And they do have the AP story - unedited, word for word - on their website, front page. Now let's see whether ESPN covers it.

Big Brown trainer pins blame on jockey

And this is why Big Brown really didn't need to win the Triple Crown. The trainer is such an asshat that he thinks that it was all the jockey (a very experienced jockey) and that the horse would have performed perfectly under any circumstance. Never mind that I was watching the race and said "He's not running well. He's fighting the jockey too much. He's not going to last the full distance."

Dear trainer - horses are living beings with minds of their own. It's possible for the horse to have a bad day.
