Make-Up Factoids
1. I have huge eyes. The problem I've had, though, is that make-up gets in the crease and cakes up, plus it doesn't stay on my lid well. Problem solved! Cream shadow is my friend. Why did I take this long to find it?
2. I still prefer eyeliner put on with a brush versus the pencil variety. Unfortunately, I'm back to pencil at the moment.
3. Mineral foundation doesn't work on me. Not enough coverage. Mousse foundation does work on me. Plenty of coverage.
4. Luminizer is a grand thing.
5. Also a grand thing - bronzer. Works great for pasty people.
6. I'm quite annoyed that at some point there was an upgrade on the different number of "ivory" foundations. I know I'm pasty. I've always been ivory. Sometimes companies do true ivory and ivory, which look vaguely different (something about yellow undertones). The crazy part? The mousse foundation I got was one of four ivory colors. There was true ivory, porcelain ivory, natural ivory, and classic ivory. The hell? I had no clue which one to choose. I went with natural ivory, as it seemed to have blue undertones. So far it looks great.
