1. At least the ADHD child that is off his medication and has had tons of sugar is inventive. He's currently putting on a puppet show with the fake fireplace in the store. (He also has Ward Burton's accent, complete with an entire family without the same accent.)
2. I came in this afternoon to find beauty queens singing Christmas carols in the midst of the mall. Right outside our store. Luckily they ended their performance at 3, which was when I started work. (Fortunate for them, as tiaras make great targets for crazed snipers.)
3. Unfortunately, some guy is setting up a sound system outside our store right now. Should I be nice and warn him that I'm psychotic when it comes to Christmas music? (Seriously, it's 6:30. He's going to play Christmas music for three hours or something?) ETA: OMG ELECTRIC XYLOPHONE. I may poke out my ear drums.
4. Also, bored to tears. Emily and I are at a loss for things to do. *sigh*
ETA2: The boredom was just broken up by a lost child (who didn't know she was lost - but boy was she friendly) and a daddy who is totally in trouble. Little girl about a 2 years old just walked in. A group of people had followed her from all the way down at the other end of the mall. She was by herself. She was cute as can be, just talking about everything we had. Security had just gotten here and gotten her name when mom and dad walked up. Seems daddy pulled out his wallet to pay at a store and turned around and she was gone. Momma seemed VERY unhappy. Me, I was amused. Mainly because we were able to corral her and it was obvious mom and dad would be found pretty quick. (Child could move fast.)
