Chris Daughtry
Where I am is currently being inundated with Daughtry all the time, thanks to a free concert that's being held in the middle of downtown tonight. (Being his hometown, we get privileges.) All well and good, but that's three blocks from my work. Way too close for comfort (comfort being, I would like to go get lunch and not have to dodge all the crazy folks who came out at 12 for a 9:30 concert).
Yes, the people are already crowding into the area for a concert that is 9 hours away.
But the fun part! Apparently a video is going to be made during the concert. Details are sketchy as to whether it's a music video for his next song ("Home", so, appropriate to do the video here) or a video for HBO. Or maybe HBO is making the video. Who knows. But 75 "beautiful people" were hired to sit in the front rows so that it looks good. *snicker* I hope that word doesn't get out too far, because people will be PISSED. I find it amusing. It's a sign of the music industry today that not even a crowd shot can feature normal folk.
