Dear Elliott Sadler -

Now, I could say this the long way or the short way. I'll go with short first, then long, because really, it bears repeating.

Short: STOP RUBBING RYAN NEWMAN!

Long: I know you're a touchy feely guy and prone to joking, but Ryan Newman is not Jamie McMurray (which it's okay for you to rub Jamie, because it makes me giggle). Heck, he's NEWMAN. So joking about the Gillette Young Gun stuff by rubbing his cleanly shaven face (after discussing the razors and commercial) with one finger while Newman looks like he's about to die laughing...normally fine, but still squicky.

Could you start behaving on the track like Kenseth or Biffle? Cause off the track you are funny and awesome and I love your accidental southern accent and ribbing Elliott that college is a good thing. You were funny and personable and still had no neck.

There are no words for the funny you brought.

"So, with Mark leaving, does that make you the elder statesman?"

Matt: "Well, I have been with Rousch in the Cup cars longer, but Greg has been racing - Trucks, Busch, Cup - longer than I have. Plus he's a hell of a lot older."

Later: "Remember, I'm not the elder statesman. It's Biffle. Because he's A LOT OLDER."
