Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby

So, two things I came out of the movie knowing with absolute certainty.

1. It helps to be a NASCAR fan because you get a lot of the...not necessarily in-jokes, but things that make the movie funnier by having NASCAR knowledge.

2. It doesn't help to be a rabid NASCAR fan because you see things that are pure funny for the movie but not applicable in real life and argue with it.

Anybody wanting to be adopted by my mother, just let me know. (Sometimes she goes above and beyond and understands and is so awesome.)

Due to last week's incident with the chick coming in at 4 and making me stay late, my mom put a sign on the door for this Saturday. (Keep in mind that my mom, who can barely afford to keep the store open, pays employees to work, so staying late for $6 of buying when I make $7.50 an hour is not good business.)

Sign reads:

"My employees work 6 days a week. Thank you for honoring the 4:00 closing time."
