Welcome to the Brickyard
As I've stated before, I have many drivers I root for, but a race watching experience can be made infinitely better by Junior doing well.
Case in point - yesterday. Race was ho-hum and boring with teh potential for a few of the guys to have a decent finish. Yes, we got Kenny Schrader in a commercial (Yay Little Debbie!), but for the most part there wasn't really exciting racing.
And then that last caution and OMG Junior stayed out and this could be salvagable and back in the Chase and OMG SQUEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
*cough*
Yes, I squeed more for Junior getting sixth than I did for Jimmie winning and being a giant dork and dropping his flag or for Kevin getting third and stopping an interview to watch Jimmie's burnout. Because Junior came in sixth in a shitty car! Tenth in points, baby!
(Now I must cry for Biffle and Kasey and Tony Raines who I feel sorry for since he went AIRBORN in a car, which shouldn't be done outside of Dukes of Hazzard.)
