Let's see...so far my moving has been screwed up how many ways?

My brother-in-law has to work Saturday (moving of heavy stuff is now on Sunday - I'm lobbying for pre-race, which he'll gladly do).

Which means the cousin who was supposed to help? Not going to be available. My sister and I will be the other 'heavy lifters'. Again...grrrr.

Sister, to make this up, plans on moving tons of boxes on Saturday. Aw. That's sweet of her. I figure I'll reign her in on that one some on the drive home tonight. There aren't that many boxes, surprisingly.

What have I got done?

Bedroom closet is cleaned out (except for that one old X-Files poster that I need to fish out from behind a cabinet). In the bedroom I'm just down to packing up a few knick-knacks and books - and I'll be done in there. Bathroom has a few things to go (last minute things - we're talking Sunday they get moved). I'm down to a few books in the living room and the kitchen.

I don't wanna do the kitchen! LOL

Kevin's grouchy. Grouchy and complaining and wanting alone time and somehow his alone time is being interrupted with dog sitting duties, because Greg got fed up with Kayle's protective routine whenever he'd go over to check on Tony.

KILL ME NOW.

(I opened an old fic I'd started last fall, and deleted a sentence and suddenly it started writing itself differently.)

We just had a random child get off the elevator and wander through our offices. No clue who this child was, other than he was obviously old enough to be wandering alone, but not old enough to have gotten here alone.

*scratches head*

This is sometimes why I hate being on teh phone when the elevator doors open. People just don't seem to stop at teh receptionist some days.

(And this post is definitely grounds for a good old fashioned Jack O'Neill "What?")

Edited: Seems the boy belongs upstairs. On another floor. To another company. We learned this on his second trip down. I then called the company to let them know a random child claiming to be theirs was wandering through. Two minutes later daddy was here looking for him (child flew the coop before the call) and giving me permission to paddle the child, as the child was supposed to be on the third floor in the computer room reading. Hee!
