(no subject)

I got to work at 7:15 this morning. As of 7:55, still no one else here. I'm lonely!

Why did I get to work this early? Well, it has to do with Junebug sitting at the Citgo with a full tank of gas and a motor that won't crank. Grrrr. Five more minutes and the Exxon will be open so I can call Perry and find out a good towing service to get it there so they can tell me how bad the damage is. I HOPE it's the starter, or the battery, anything so that they can fix it AND the radiator and my car will be fine again. (I'm really hoping for the battery, but that's like a .000005% chance of being the problem. Heck, the starter is a slim one. I have fear that my Junebug has died.)

And en route to Greensboro with Dad, we passed bubblesbrnaid. Alas, his truck wasn't recognizable and she was merging, else I'd have been a more obvious crazy person with the waving.

I think this icon is nicely appropriate today.

Life is good! Junebug needs a new radiator (this I knew) and...a new battery! That's it! That hideous clicking was the battery, nothing else. *twirls*

So...yay!

$400 I will be losing, but who gives a flying fuck when it's not $800 to fix the radiator AND the starter? (Sorry for the cursing. I'm just excited.)

Also, while telling my mother a story last night as she was taking me home, I said "What the hell was she thinking?" Let me tell you, never cuss in front of your mama, even if it's the first time since you were 10 and accidentally said "ass" when doing a cheer. My mama gave me a LOOK and said "Don't you cuss at me!" I wasn't cussing at her, per se, but yeah. *g*
