So far today I've been emailing a company that refuses to email me back about a book I ordered on the 8th that is still "unprocessed". And now Amazon.com is showing my CDs were delivered on Saturday when we weren't here.

I'm ANNOYED.

That and my carpal is acting up, I should never do Sudoku before bed as it makes me sleep fitfully, my back is spasming, I have to type a lot today, my lips are chapped, and UPS isn't putting up the Ellyut commercial on it's website. *grumbles*

*kicks rock*

Oh, and I totally didn't want to come into work today. Because I'm tired and sleepy. But we have a big proposal that I may have to stay late for! Woohoo! My sister is going to LOVE that.

I do have Reese's Peanut Butter Cups sitting at home waiting for me, though. Nice incentive for the end of the day.

*headdesk*

*rinse*

*repeat*

Reason # 182 why we don't do proposals often - boss lady forgets how to do simple things like save as she's working in a document. Or she hits "paste" accidentally and freaks because her 7 page document went to 9 pages and deleted two pages. (Never mind the math where the document got two pages longer, not two pages shorter.)

THEN we have Dense Lady, who calls for boss lady who is crashing on a proposal and will not be disturbed except in emergencies (my decree). Dense Lady asks for boss lady. Dense Lady is told boss lady is unavailable. Dense Lady gets confused, because "But is she there?" Yes, but she ain't talking to you. I imagine the subsequent transfer to voicemail was also confusing.

And finally, I have PMS and woke up this morning the bitchiest of bitchy. Fear me and my wrath. And we get to do another proposal tomorrow! *twirls*

Now off to make sure we have the proper disclaimers as to whether or not we used recycled paper on the proposal. Because god forbid that gets missed and we don't get the client as a result.

ETA: And my mother with her timing...she wants me to work on her website tomorrow night (but maybe not or add some clip art or...) and she's getting waffley on Saturday's family shopping trip because my brother-in-law has to work (which is kind of what he'll be doing for many Saturdays to come with his new job) and going after his work might be a bad idea...

And all of this she wants to dicuss with ME. I hope she wasn't miffed by my response, which was an emailed reply of "Everyone else gets to decide it, because I'm too busy at work to deal with it. I'm not in the mood."

By the way...

My grandmother trumps everyone else's family for most apalling.

At least this week.

Because she called to tell me to think about going out on a date with a guy at her church. He's younger than me, but hey! He cut off his ponytail! Oh, it'll just be some time, though, as he's still in mourning for his 23-year-old wife who died of a brain aneurysm two months ago and left him a single father of a newborn.

Wouldn't want to RUSH things.
