Dreams, Supernatural

It is cruel and unusual punishment to have your alarm go off right when you and HotDean are snuggling under the covers in a big ole bed, and he's stroking your leg, and you're telling him that if you'd known he was going to make a move you'd have shaved your legs that morning (dream me is too realistic), but he didn't mind slightly rough legs, so hell, you're gonna get it on and...

See, that really sucks to wake up from. *pouts* He was all snarky and wicked. And there was gonna be sex.

The Flavor of Love

[livejournal.com profile] sullivanlane, I caught the chicken episode in commercials on Smallville last night. I am in LOVE with Flav's mama. That woman is too cute. Any mama that can nail someone with The Look and have them scrambling ("I meant rub elbows") is the perfect mama.

And chick with no rhythm at church nearly made me cry.

Smallville

I have PMS. Naturally, I cried the last 10 minutes. First time ever Smallville has made me cry (even though there was a tear for Pete leaving - this was full on bawling, as witnessed by [livejournal.com profile] paperbkryter when she called me to see if she should stay up to watch, and I couldn't stop hiccuping).

I love all the actors on this show when they give it everything.

And I love weird and funny anvils like spoiler cut ). And there were many other things that I loved.

And yet, the one thought that will always mar this episode is that AlMiles like to think they're clever, but they just aren't quite creative enough to pull it off convincingly. The cleverness that is.

*does the massive tearing out of hair thing*

I haven't been online as much as normal the past few days, thanks in part to getting cable (meaning I spent a good portion of yesterday at home instead of at work), and thanks in part to a boss who suddenly decides on random things that usually involve too much work to find out something really weird (like, what is the client's last name? without giving me any information on this new client, like how to reach them to ask).

So, if you have written anything I should read, if you have posted pictures I should look at, if you have a poll I should participate in, link me to it! (I went back on my f-list and felt lost, like I was missing obvious things.)

My sister has problems with basic reading comprehension. I created a mini-NASCAR Fantasy League for her, a coworker, coworker's husband and me to participate in this year. Sister is very excited. Sister reads rules and promptly chooses the wrong amount of drivers. *sigh* And for some reason her crew chief of choice is Todd Berrier. (I kept from pointing out that his points deductions could hurt her if he's still in "massive cheater" mode. It's her choice. She's a big girl.)

Aaaaaanyway. My sister amuses me on that.

February is the month of madness here on my LJ, not March. Sports madness that is.

Feb. 5 - Super Bowl (Go Hawks!)
Feb. 19 - Daytona 500
Feb. 10-26 - Winter Olympics

People, I will be nuts for days. Weeks, even. Granted, the Winter Olympics tend to lead to less squeeing than the Summer Olympics, but still, I have cable, so I can see way too much of the backstory.

Super Bowl: I'm rooting for the Seahawks. It's all about the underdogs.

Daytona 500: It's all about my boys. Which means, I'm rooting for half the field.

Olympics: I haven't a clue as to most of the "stories" (I usually choose the most sympathetic to root for as the Games commence), but I am flat out rooting for Michelle Kwan. On one hand, knowing her, she will not go unless she's fit. She's too stubborn to compete unless she can do it and really go for the gold. Yeah, I feel a little bit bad for Emily Hughes, as it's her spot that Michelle gets. But then I remember 1994. Tonya Harding, despite her guilt (which at the time had not been ascertained), went to the Olympics with Kerrigan to compete. The altnernate had to sit home because Kerrigan was given a by. That alternate was a 13-year-old Michelle Kwan. So in some ways, I feel like, should she be healthy enough, this is her reward for back then. (And when the other girls all think she should go, even if it knocks them out, that says a lot of what they think of her.) I just want to see her last skate and have it be on a world stage. I know a lot of people don't like her, but I fell in love with her style long ago and the attention she gave to detail. She changed the sport. Just like the guys who started landing quads, it takes a revolutionary to change things and really elevate the competition.

Dear long time friend of head honcho:

Yeah, y'all joke back and forth and sometimes drag me into the joking, but it's not necessary to traumatize me in the process. Wondering if the reason head honcho (who is home due to hip replacement surgery - a sign of his age here folks) isn't answering his phone is because he's taking a nap or having sex with somebody is not something I need to hear. Kay? It's traumatizing. Especially considering he's seeing the other head honcho who is here right now and lives with her.

*shudder*

Please make the scary man go away!

Why is "traumatized" not a mood?
