Smallville.

Loved it.

There were parts I argued with the TV about (for every character - I was wonderfully equal opportunity). There were parts I screamed incoherently because of massive love.

My one overwhelming want coming out of it, though?

Iconage and Fic Request )

Also, CSI - what was that song they used? Because I'm so in love with it. "Mad World" by Gary Jules (Donnie Darko soundtrack). Per [livejournal.com profile] chaeysa and [livejournal.com profile] resmin and the loveliness of the internets. *g*

NASCAR things to make you laugh

Troy Aikmen's car may be driven by Ward Burton! Huzzah! Please make it so!

The ingenious yet not illegal (yet) shocks on the 48 and 5 make me giggle. Silly engineers and their trickses!

Some guy named Norris is helping out Mikey. Sadly, it is not Chuck, and we do not get Mikey Kung Fu.

Your view on yourself:

Other people find you very interesting, but you are really hiding your true self. Your friends love you because you are a good listener. They'll probably still love you if you learn to be yourself with them.

The type of girlfriend/boyfriend you are looking for:

You like serious, smart and determined people. You don't judge a book by its cover, so good-looking people aren't necessarily your style. This makes you an attractive person in many people's eyes.

Your readiness to commit to a relationship:

You prefer to get to know a person very well before deciding whether you will commit to the relationship.

The seriousness of your love:

Your have very sensible tactics when approaching the opposite sex. In many ways people find your straightforwardness attractive, so you will find yourself with plenty of dates.

Your views on education

Education is very important in life. You want to study hard and learn as much as you can.

The right job for you:

You're a practical person and will choose a secure job with a steady income. Knowing what you like to do is important. Find a regular job doing just that and you'll be set for life.

How do you view success:

You are afraid of failure and scared to have a go at the career you would like to have in case you don't succeed. Don't give up when you haven't yet even started! Be courageous.

What are you most afraid of:

You are concerned about your image and the way others see you. This means that you try very hard to be accepted by other people. It's time for you to believe in who you are, not what you wear.

Who is your true self:

You are mature, reasonable, honest and give good advice. People ask for your comments on all sorts of different issues. Sometimes you might find yourself in a dilemma when trapped with a problem, which your heart rather than your head needs to solve.

Your turn

***

That was actually so scarily accurate that I'm in shock. The relationship, education and job stuff? So scarily accurate. (Except for the getting lots of dates.)

Also, can I smack a bitch? Some fool says that all the options for Wonder Woman that aren't strictly by comic book rote are worthless. Gina Torres? So not Wonder Woman because she's not white with black hair (pardon me while I roll my eyes - in my mind she's it). Yet, and this is where I started giggling, Hugh Jackman was the PERFECT Wolverine because he was perfectly like the comics.

So the part where Wolverine is a runt (with muscles, but still) for how many years...that doesn't count?

Because weirdness is fun.

American Idol auditions are in town this weekend. I have a cousin (mom's first cousin's daughter) who is auditioning. Folks, lets pray she can sing. I don't know if she can. And nothing worse than having her hopes dashed horribly. If they're gonna get dashed, let it be BEFORE Simon, Paula and Randy. Just so that it's not so harsh.

But here's some interesting - for some reason there will be no lining up for days and sleeping outside. You show up tomorrow for registration (which lasts two days) and get a ticket and a wristband. That means on Monday you get a definite seat and a definite audition.

*shrieks* Kerry is qualifying! Kerry is qualifying! Please oh please oh please let Kerry make the race. *starts crossing things now* It doesn't look wonderful, because so far there's only one person slower (Wimmer). But...Kerry!

On the other end, Kevin on the pole and Jimmie currently directly behind him (meaning he's in third).

I just had an opportunity to judge a beauty pageant and had to pass it up.
