Our clients are SPESHUL.

New client has issues. Major issues. Of the variety where we all just realized that in one day they've presented the most lopsided judgement we've seen in a long time (including clients from hell who expected amazing PR results even when there were no press releases sent out because they didn't want to spend the money).

This one?

Called at 2:30 upset because they needed the 24-hour turnaround logo we were told to work on.

The logo that the man was full aware was to be delivered to him by a 3:30 deadline.

Then he - still pissy - demanded to know the status of their sell sheet.

Uh, status being we're waiting for your copy and photographs.

His response? "Well, I'm getting ready to send those to you. And we NEED IT TODAY. As promised by your CEO."

Huh. Special deadline that no one was aware of, while CEO is out, with impossible deadlines considering a lack of content to work with?

As the creative director, who had to handle the call, said, "We're an advertising agency, not a fucking hamburger joint!"

That creative director never has to answer a call from that client again. *eg* Seriously, while we clash at times, there's no way in hell I'll ever let that client speak to more than two people. It's either the CEO or his account executive. That way they can't pull this crap.
