(no subject)

Am sick.

Am at work sick.

Am at work with no way to get home and sick.

Am at work with no way to get home and the obligation of having dinner with my cousin who's in town from Florida...and sick.

And the Jeffy fans with no lives (seriously, I was expecting the Junior fans with no lives, but not the Jeffy fans) are over at FoxSports.com having fun trying to annihilate Ellyut. And we're only 30 minutes into that contest.

Well, it's balancing out

I had a smoothie for lunch, and for some reason that helped. It went down well, tasted good, didn't upset my stomach, and it allowed me to take a migraine pill. All without aggravating my acid reflux. So far the headache has receeded (even if I'm now jittery as hell...I think that's a lack of solid food and too much caffeine though).

Methinks I should eat a steak tonight at dinner. Steak as prepared by others...good. And it'll be protein. Thinking back on it, it *has* been a good long while since I had a considerable chunk of protein. Somehow I've gotten on a light meals binge that's heavy on the lack of nutrients.

And of course, LnC arrived today in the mail. *dances* What cracks me up is the fact that our mailman thought it was a Bo Bice CD. Hee! He and I do reality TV talking sometimes, so he knew of my Bo love. But when I said it was Lois and Clark and showed him the cover, he then asked if I watched the "other" Superman show that's on. LOL Yep. I'm predictable.

On the NASCAR front, Ellyut is now back in contention and NASCAR.com is noting that Junior's been a bit dead in the eyes lately. 1. Yay Ellyut! 2. Well duh. He's in a bad streak, and that's one thing he and Mikey have in common big time: when things are going sour, they get morose and introverted (or as introverted as Mikey can get) and tend to shut down.
