Holy crap!

EW.com article about Anthony's ouster

Um, their thing with a message board at the bottom and the ability to post your thoughts that they can use in the next day's article?

OMG.

I made the article. *dies laughing*

On the plus side, at least my quote reads decent, and some idiot in the comments below proved my point by trying to actually claim that Carrie's pitch and tone is much better than Clay's. *snort* First off, Carrie's tone is different from her pitch. Moron boy. She does have a beautiful tone, but her pitch sucks on some songs. And Clay has a fantastic tone. And I'm sorry, I voted for Ruben, but he wasn't pitch perfect either. And Kelly has great singing ability, but even she had a moment or two where she was off (actually after the show ended though).

FYI number one: I graduate this Saturday from the community college. I'll have that associate's to accompany the bachelors I already have. Whee!

Question: Our intern is going to work for NASCAR. She knows nothing of the sport and needs schooling. Recommend some good websites (beyond just NASCAR.com, which I'm going to make her staple).

FYI number two: LiveJournal is being stingy with comments again for me. I just got a ton. Will answer as I can today.
Thanks to CNN for pointing out the problems...in more than one way.

That article talks about the latest voting snafu on American Idol, one that occured on Tuesday night.

Pardon me while I laugh my ass off over their version of a snafu.

The dial-in phone number for Underwood was displayed on the closed-captioning for all the contestants, possibly aiding her survival. The correct numbers, however, were shown with on-screen graphics and announced by Seacrest.

A statement issued Wednesday by Fox read, "the producers and network apologize to our hearing-impaired viewers for any confusion, and the situation was immediately corrected for our tape-delayed West Coast broadcast."

*waits*

*bites lip*

Okay, pardon my insenstivity, but the first completely deaf person that throws a fit because they didn't have the closed-captioning to help them vote in a singing competition, I'm going to bap them over the head for stupidity. Those with hearing impairments who just have to turn the TV up really loud, I feel for you. But it was on the screen in a graphic to read.

Come on! How is that a snafu!?!?!?
