Anyone want in?

Okay folks, I know DragonCon is way off, and some folks are already in the bent of booking hotels or getting DragonCon tickets. And since the SV crowd is meeting up then, I'm going ahead (since Landa found that hotels are being bitchy about blocks of rooms) and reserving a room. I'm going to reserve one at the Days Inn in downtown Atlanta though. It's not far from where Landa is staying (a few blocks), has it's own gated parking, and is decent. I stayed there last spring.

So just an FYI...anyone looking for rooms for the SV get together, that's a decent hotel. And uh, my roommates are almost already set *g* thanks to the fact we're all driving in together. Yay east coast!

ETA: Blasted Days Inn. They did some sort of reserving of rooms thing that's a pain in the butt, plus they jacked their prices way up. So...until I find a hotel that's a decent price and in the right area. Pfft.

For anyone looking for a hotel for DragonCon, if you're trying to stay at Days Inn, call them direct (not the 1 800 number). All rooms are blocked off for that date, so the main reservations reads them being booked solid.

Also, anyone not staying at a hotel that's DragonCon related...the Best Western at The Peachtrees is very nearby, and it has reasonable prices. You must call them direct though (believe me, internet research sucks sometimes). With AAA discount, we've got $89 a night. And parking is just $10 a day.
