Yesterday we had no internet. *hates* There was some issue locally with Road Runner and Time Warner Cable. We had nothing. No internet, no email.
People, I had to WORK!
And in the process, I now have next to nothing left to do for the rest of the week. And next week isn't looking good either.
ETA: Grrrrr. When I went to post this entry, the internet went out AGAIN. While I was posting and simultaneously trying to search for a cheap copy of season two of Stargate SG-1.

First Season Stargate SG-1 Thoughts
Since I watched an entire 21-episode season in four days (consider that I watched the two hour premiere on Friday night, and the two-part finale on Monday night...that means 18 episodes in the course of two days *g*), I managed to get thoughts going that a week span between episodes might not have revealed otherwise.
1. The change in Teal'cs characterization from the pilot to the second episode is kind of...weird. And you know, I wouldn't have minded if they had kept some of the fierceness of first episode Teal'c.
2. I miss season one floppy Daniel. Whose clothes didn't fit well, whose hair was unkempt, and whose glasses were overly large. I didn't realize until this weekend the fashion influence that the military environment and Jack had on him.
3. Am I the only person seeing Janet/Teal'c potential? And that was first season!
4. The Nox are my favorite alien race EVER! Plus...Armin Shimerman!
5. This show is not shippy to me. I love it, but watching...at least first season, it's not shippy. Heck, I'm a Jack/Sam girl, and even that didn't even make an appearance until Solitudes. Pretty much all of their interaction with each other? Very buddy-buddy. Jack with Sam, Sam with Daniel, Daniel with Teal'c...they're all just *friends*.
6. I miss Scaara.
7. General Hammond rocks hard core.
8. Jack is undeniably my favorite character. I actually like them all in various ways and to varying degrees, which is unusual for me in regards to an ensemble show. They all have personalities that gel nicely and make a great team. But of them all, I like Jack best. Maybe it's because he puts on a good front, while being much deeper than others around him see. Maybe it's because of the snark. Maybe it's because of Charlie *wibbles*. I don't know, but there's so much to the character that I adore.
