Somebody be lying!
And I smell a wee hobbit of a racecar driver burning when I say that.
According to Evernham's website, Kasey Kahne is 5'9". This strange fact was also stated in the People Sexiest Men issue. The thing is, when you can't see the driver over his car, and standing near drivers that are stated as being 6 ft. tall (yeah, sure, I buy that one too...come on Junior, you're 5'10" if an inch taller) he appears much, much shorter, there's no way in hell I'm buying the whole 5'9" thing.
On the other hand, I quite honestly believe Chip Ganassi racing when they state that Jamie McMurray is 5'6" of wee hobbitiness. Cause the boy is short. That has been noted in person.
Also on that note, indeed, Michael Waltrip is a whoppingly massive 6'5" tall. He is. Huge man. (Also a really handsome man for whom television does not do justice.) He may have played second banana to Darrell all his life in the racing, but I don't doubt for a minute that until Buffy, he wasn't hurting for female companionship and could out-score his brother any day on that front.
