First day back. Yay! I'm actually glad vacation is done. The dog wasn't talking back to me, and it was starting to get irritating.

So, anything I miss? News? Kerfluffles? Elopments? Dish!

I've become particularly fond of Saturday night television viewing in the middle of frickin' nowhere (with no cable). I have discovered that, with surprising ease, I can manipulate the antenae and get the UPN station out of Charlotte. On Saturday nights this is good, because that means I can watch Stargate SG-1 at 8:00.

(Hey, give me sci-fi and I have every reason to stay home and avoid rednecks.)

So Saturday night I watched Fallen. I would so be going crazy in this fandom if I was anywhere up to speed. *sigh* And let me just say, the snark factor? Over the moon. It made me realize...I miss good old heros who snark in the face of danger and aren't angsty to go on top of it. Mulder, love ya in all your loser glory, but the angst sometimes killed the snark joy. I think that's part of why I like Jack so much. He snarks at inappropriate times. And boy, was his snarking so inappropriate in Fallen. Loved it! Especially all of the psuedo-Star Wars snarking during the dogfight stuff. Plus the fact that Sam looked like she was going to die laughing any moment. They were having fun being reckless daredevils.

And blue is totally Daniel's color. Just saying.
